Who you might meet



Kate has been a member of the Metropolitan Community Churches for over 15 years and is one of the church planters in Glasgow.  She moved to Glasgow in 2007 and heads up the Outreach Team.  She is also an occasional preacher at MCCinG and leads our singing.

Paul has been part of MCCinG from its inception at a Passover meal in March 2007. His interests are reading and listening to music and works in retail. He is currently learning British Sign Language part-time and hopes to be able to progress to Interpreter level in the future. He is also on a preaching course provided by MCC. Within the church, Paul is the acting treasurer as part of the Committee, a worship leader and, most recently, a preacher.



You’ll see him up at the front, leading worship services. He has been with the church since February 2008 and currently serves on the Committee. He is originally from Northern Ireland, he's a website manager for the NHS and enjoys films, reading, cooking and travel..



Doro has been a part of MCC in Glasgow since Spring 2009. She drums the 'cajon' at church from time to time and helps to keep this website up to date. In her spare time, she loves exploring the great outdoors with her dog and enjoys training as part of a Triathlon Club.

Paul Smyth



Paul has been coming to MCC in Glasgow since July 2010 and became a member in October 2010. He works as a care worker and in his spare time he loves making music. Paul is a pianist and organist and you'll be able to enjoy his music from time to time when he plays the piano at Sunday worship. For Paul, "MCC in Glasgow is a great place of community and fellowship".
